80 Free Auctions Templates (Christmas / Holidays)
Posted in eBay Selling Tips, Sites Resources on Nov 22nd, 2007

Using free auction templates are a great way to quickly dressed up your auctions listings according to season.

For example, you can change your auction template by decorating it with pumpkins, witches and bats for Halloween; mistletoes, xmas tree or snowman for Christmas and New Year.
It is fun to incorporate some holiday mood in the auctions template and suggests gifts giving for the items you are selling. I personally feel changing themes give your auction or website a fresher look.

If you are not a HTML geek, but would like to set some Christmas and holiday mood in your auction, try some of these free auction templates.

Here’s what you need to do to use these free auction templates:

1. Copy the html codes and paste them onto Frontpage.

2. Save all the graphics associated with the templates.

3. Upload the graphics to your own server or a free image hosting.

4. Hightlight the graphics in Frontpage, go to Properties and change the link of the pictures.

5. Fill in the descriptions for your auction items and upload your auction pictures.

6. Copy the html codes and paste them into eBay description section, Turbo Lister or any auction management tools you are using.

Voila!
Sounds like a lot of work, but actually it is extremely easy. It is always safer to upload the graphics to your own image hosting. The owner of the icons could change the icon or delete them on the server without you knowing.

And most of all, if everybody starts to link the graphics directly, it will severely affect the bandwidth, which could make the icons on your template appear very slowly.
Have fun setting the Christmas or holiday mood with your auctions templates!
